Shopping with 1K07

After going through a whole day of cleaning up lecture room and staff rooms, and a 2 hour-long ordeal of Communications Skills, the few of us: Kenze, Franz, Shawn, Nick, Li Hui, Shirlene, Ka Yan and myself headed down to town for a shopping spree.

After an hour's ride, we arrived at Far East Plaza, with Ka Yan taking the helm in leading the whole group of us to go see various clothings and accessories all around the mall..and embarrasingly enough, it was my 1st time there.

For starters, we all purchased one friendship band, which we all agreed to tie around our left ankle. Sold at $1 each, I chose one that did not look so girly, a red and black coloured band.

After another half an hour of aimless walking, stomachs rumbled as we all sat ourselves down at Han's

Few conversations went by as we sat down in 2 tables of 4 each. Kenze with the galz, and the rest of us...For one, I did not know Nicholas worked at Han's before, and he was explaining us how the various franchises operated, and he knew which food to recommend etc etc...and we all even talked about our O level results, our feelings, our scores and the choices that we made...

After our meal, Kenze and Shawn decided to get their "hot pants" from a shop called "Flexor" if memory serves, then we all left Far East to walk to Heeren....just taking in the atmosphere of an enjoyable friday night in the city area...Shirlene brought her camera along and we took 2 pictures at the visitor's centre area with the help of a kind lady.

Reaching Heeren, we all went to Forever 21, and were caught in surprise as we all saw Kelly with 2 of her friends there also. while waiting for the galz to look see, we all just chatted around, with all the funny shit about crotches in someone's face, lame jokes and everything else.

Then we went to HMV to go look around and I bought the 101 drama hits album....kinda regret it as i am not so impressed with instrumental versions inside of the various OST of TV drama shows...Also managed to try out the new Street Fighter 4, and I re-lived the good ol' days of my adolescent years where I would play the PS 1 for countless hours with my bro of the many variations of Capcom's street fighter games like Marvel vs Capcom...With more sophisticated graphics, the game play is just so much better.

After which we all went to look at the last few shops, before we headed down to the basement of Heeren, where I made a pleasant food discovery of a new dessert shop which specialized in HK and Taiwanese desserts, something close to my heart. Was impressed with their Mango Snow Ice, and I will definitely be back to try out the other desserts.

Filling our stomachs with sugar, we all left the Heeren, where Kenze was 1st to go coz he needed to meet his friends, then the remainder of us walked to Dhoby Ghaut and after which said our goodbyes...

Tiring, but we all had fun going out together once again as a class...and this is our 1st year...

Really think what my seniors say is true, treasure your 1st year memories, for they will be the sweetest of the 3...

Love you all, and enjoy every moment spent with you guys.

Take care and God Bless always!

TP LRM 1K07

Have not got a chance to really talk about how much Poly life has been, or how it even started.

But thanks be to God, for I have such great and wonderful people to ever cross my life, and become friends with me.

This does not even feel like school anymore seeing them each day during lectures and tutorials, and I certainly look forward to seeing them everyday for the rest of the academic year

Within the 3rd week, we already had our outings at Seoul Garden and Night Cycling to the SG Flyer, ( at which I sustained a pretty nice physical souvenir to make the event even more memorable). (for pics, click on link to Kaili's blog)

I am seriously optimistic about my education for the very 1st time in my life.

ever...

Ressurection

online.

hahas...just came back from Parkway after an ID session. I saw this fella who made time records on Lake Akina (God knows why) with his cars. As such I felt he was a worthy opponent.

I issued a verbal challenge. He smirked and just said see if we can get place 1st (all 4 machines were occupied)

Being non-too pleased, I asked a guy if he would let me use 1st, and he very kindly obliged.

He was using an Toyota Altezza RS 200 (SXE 10) 6-5-5-6-4

My car Nissan Skyline GTR (BNR 34) was 7-0-0-0-6

As he joined in later he got to choose the course we would battle in. Kinda surprised me why he chose Myogi Wet. Then I realized he wanted to attack my weak points since my car was freaking slidey.

I started up wrongly, banged 3 times against the freaking wall and lost to him by 80+ metres.

I wanted revenge. So I chose Irohazaka dry.

Turns out his technique at that course wasn't that good after all and I pwnd his ass by 160+ metres, and with a car that is under-tuned compared to his.

At least I can say I am of a certain standard in ID

In parkway...that is...

Being random, but I notice that on youtube, there have been a lot of "chipmunk versions" of a lot of songs lately.

Then I realized it was just the people who used some sound software to change the key of the sound by 1 octave and a few keys higher...

dotz.....

oh well...

Anything online can be compromised...

and it will be compromised

for starters look at Edison Chen...

Break

It has kinda been fun, being in the committee for servers. Worked really hard for the society with the rest of them.

I stood down with immediate effect from yesterday as it was time to uphold the end of my bargain. But hell am I gonna miss the various events that's coming up, and chances are I cannot attend.

Still don't know if I can really commit to my studies now even after everything.

I am really lost. I do not know how to fit my body into everything now...Just feels as though there is something that I had lost.

I do not know how, I do not know when...

Or was it rather, something I never even had in the first place? Something I've been looking for, but not yet found.

Forget it...I'll think about it later

and later

and later

And before I know it, my O's are here.

And there goes my future....

Need some time to clear my thoughts out...

Eastertide

I just wanna say, Holy Week was a blast!

It was tiring, physically demanding but hell, did it feel fufilling.

Besides our Easter Tridium, we also had our Sin Hoi Sai Tridium, having our dinners/supper 3 days in a row at the Cze Char stall opposite our church.

The Winning Eleven games we played while staying over at Emmaus House on Holy Thursday, the cursing, introduction of our new vulgarity :"Nubs Cheebye" (smth along those lines anyway)

And above all, commemarating the Ressurection story in one whole big mass.

But all these is over...

and what is left...

is the remaining pain and hurdles.

oh yes...it sucks...

But as long as I have something to look forward to, I think I'll be fine.

Just wanna see my boys through weekend mass before I officially take a break from servers now.

The worst is yet to come.

Bring it on...

Holy/Hell Week

Before I start on this post, I am glad to say I have my com back up and running.

And so it begins...Holy Week.

It starts tomorrow, Celebration of the Lord's Supper...

God help me coz I need to serve one load of mass and services with an in-grown toenail, which will be removed on the 16th April.

But not complaining though, since I get exempted from PE for 1 month (YES!)

Now just awaiting the day...

And hell do I love getting my life back!

Also, time to get back to my old days (hint hint: airport)

That's all for now.
