Spiderman 3

It is over...shall not say much about it. I fucked up a few papers, without a doubt.

Enough...

Watched a longly awaited Spiderman 3 yesterday with my guyz. Really great movie if you asked me.

Spoliers:

It's been pretty long I really felt a tear drop from my eyes ever since Windtalkers. The part where Harry (Green Goblin's son) put away his mission for vengeance, came to Peter's (Spiderman) aid and even to the point where he took Venom's hit to protect Peter and died eventually.

In this movie, Peter had also been through many things. Trying to get MJ to marry him. Yet, unable to control his popularity as Spiderman. In a parade he even kisses a girl whom he saved, right in front of MJ. Which upsets her to the point where she even wants a break up.

Peter, from hope came to confusion and sadness. Vengeance when he realize the person who killed his Uncle Ben was not the person who died 2 seasons ago, but Flint (Sandman), who wants money to pay for his daughter's recovery. Unable to let go of his anger, Peter seeks Sandman.

Due to his insatiable hunger for revenge, poison takes over him, giving him the new black suit. This was a Spiderman who was not concerned with saving the neighbourhood. This Spiderman was one with a personal agenda, to hunt down all his enemies and kill them with his own hands. The enemies that caused him hurt.

Many other things, like making MJ jealous, he becoming more confident about himself, walking with a strut everywhere.

Peter has experienced, trying to commit to both his role as boyfriend, law enforcer, and family.

As Aunt May so aptly puts it. "A man must put his wife before himself"

I've seen the the negative side of having too many commitments. As such, this movie has really led me to think about my priorities towards life and not just concerned with getting a future in the world.

Revenge is like a poison, it can overtake you before you know it.

Two wrongs never make a right, It is up to a deed of goodness to resolve the hatred and anger

Hatred is like a curved blade, in hurt we do to our enemies, we do to ourselves.

Forgiveness because of love, is truly God's greatest gift for us.

And, more importantly,

There is no greater love, than to lay down one's life for a friend.

Amen.

God Bless

go watch the show if you have not.
