Thursday- Family Day

Our family was not one that was usually close to each other.

Especially our parents who quarelled everyday over the smallest things in life. As for us children, we have to constantly listen to our "father" who obviously has been too used to commanding a batallion of soldiers, to "tell" us what to do. Which usually falls on death ears and one of us boys starts getting his signature corporoal punishment. (Yes he still does it, though I do not know why and neither to I really give a damn)

Our family quarells very often. Results, our futures, doing the housework, coming back home for meals etc...

So much so that we've totally forgotten about expressing our love constantly for each other as a family.

But gradually, it all started when my dad was going to hospital for a check up and he wanted to bring all of us out for a movie after that. For YEARS ( yes I mean really, I do not exagerate) this has not been successful especially with the whole family, but on that occasion everyone decided to commit ourselves one time.

It was also the day I sealed the deal with Dad for the 4 of us, (dad hates beef) to go to Aston's as an early birthday treat to me, and we got to taste the wagyu grade 6+.

We also watched Mr Bean and Shooter(separation..bleagh,) at Tampinese Mall.

After this incident, we all started coming up with great ideas to go out on Thursday.

2 weeks ago we all went out to see my sis's cheongsam which she will be wearing on her wedding night. She had various choices all over Singapore. So my dad drove her around, arriving at each shop, gave his "expert opinion" on some choices my sister made.

But seriously jie, the gold one you chose at orchard is really not going to work........and she ended up the on in ( sorry forgot the place ar sial) which was a white garment and a gold colour lace. Very nice, I think my sis will look glamarous in it.

And just yesterday we went to Aston's. ( hehe I ate a lot more than the others. 1 ribeye and 1 chicken cutlet...and SHIT...WHY DIDN'T THE STAFF PUT A NOTICE ON THEIR WAGYU WHEN WE ARRIVED, IT WAS ONLY AFTER MY SIS AND I FINISHED EATING, THEN THEY PUT IT UP ARGH!)

oh and btw people, Aston's has just opened on May Day, and now they have grade 5 Wagyu ribeye going for $40 the 250 grams portion.

So Thursday will be our family day... At least we try to

Treasure your family, no matter how much you hate one member....

God Bless!

Whoa, a quote from Alwyn (choirmate of my sis's) with regard to sinful food.. :D

A moment on your lips, a lifetime on your hips.
