Casiopea vs T-Square: Midmanhattan

Once again, japan's finest jazz fusion bands display a great repetoire of solos in this song, Mid Manhattan.
Drums for this song are great, very nicely played together by the 2 drummers.

To see your smile...

From the MRT, we walked on to the bus interchange, with her trying to guess what was I going to give her. She guesses the answer initially, but I do not tell her it is.

We stopped at the interchange. Opening my bag, I handed her a wrapped package which was fairly large in size. "Is it a PSP?" she asks in disbelief. The grin on my face widens a little. Opening the package carefully, she takes out a PSP, Champagne Gold in colour.

Her face in shock, which turned into smile, her hugs, her going high, jumping around and little screams and exclamations, were all I needed to feel and see. The warmth that filled my heart, the smile on my face, could never ever be replaced with a PSP and PS3 combined...

She just could not stop hugging me, telling me I was God-sent, which really touched me deeply. I just loved to see her smile and be happy

And to me perhaps, In her eyes, I found the greatest prize of my life this year.

Though it is my birthday, my wish was to share this joy with someone. With the help of God, I managed to win her long desired gift, and so my wish was fufilled too.

She was still in disbelief after a few minutes, the aftermath of her wish fulfilled was just too much for her to absorb in such a short period of time. I did promise her when we were on the MRT back to Bedok, that I will give her something that will not let her sleep the whole night, and so I did.

It has come to a close. The day when 15 years ago, the cries of a child of God filled this world. Now the child has become a teenager, experimenting with different things this world has to offer.

Most importantly, he has truly experienced true happiness. Even though it was a short moment, it was a gratifying and glorious experience in his 15 years in life.

Yoh-Kun, I hope that this PSP, which is just a token of my appreciation of the friendship we had over the last 2 years keep you happy when you are sad, entertain you when you are bored. This gift is truly for you.

Love, Benny Boy.

God, 15 years ago, You brought me into this world. I, an insignificant child, did not know the true majesty of the world You created, but have at last, known what joy to a person is. I thank You God, for all the love and blessings You have showered on me every single time, for giving me such loving parents, caring siblings, and wonderful loyal friends I made, whom I have met. Let all in this world experience joy and love in their lifetimes, that they may know the beauty of men You created, Amen.

Before I was born

Before I was Born
You made me,
You formed me,
You kept me alive, long before I was born
You have sought me out and found me,
You know where I sit or stand
You know the depths of my heart
whenever I move or rest
You'll find me wherever I am, You'll find me wherever I am
You made me
You formed me,
You kept me alive, long before I was born
You kept me alive, long before I was born
Before a word comes from my mouth, You know what I want to say,
You come close to me, You lay your hand upon me
All of this is too much for me, all of this is too much for me.
You made me,
You formed me,
You kept me alove, long before I was born
How can I ever hide from you, where can I run from you
Above and Below, You are there,
To the dawn or to the sea, You are there,
Your hand will guide my way, Your hand will guide my way
You made me,
You formed me,
You kept me alive, long before I was born
You have created every inch of me, You knit me to my mother's womb
You have record of all my days, long before they ever began,
How amazing Your thoughts, O God, how amazing Your thoughts O God.
You made me
You formed me,
You kept me alive, long before I was born...
You kept me alive, long before I was born.
O God, before I even came into this world, you knew me from my mother's womb. You created me, protected me, let me into Your wonderful creation of this world. I grew up with Your ever guiding hands keeping me from harm, and protecting me from all dangers. Getting to know You, Love You and Serve You. You gave me my family, my friends, my body, my mind, my soul. Yet I take them for granted. You continued to love me even as I strayed away. Now that I remember the day, this day, 15 years ago, when I came into this world, filled with Your everlasting unconditional Love for me, for us. I ask You to bless my family, my friends, all those who have come into my life and gone, the people whom I know, the people whom I have yet to know. Let every new child be blessed with Your love and bring joys to familes all around Your world, For every child is a gift from You, and all these I ask in Your most precious name, Amen.

SPS SC 2007

After my prefect's meeting yesterday, I decided to help Ricardo and abandon my initial plan of skipping St Patrick's School Sports Carnival 2007.

Had difficulty getting a cab this morning, which all the more lead to my frustration and a hint of hesitation to go back to Plan A. But I did manage to find my way there after all.

I was in the publicity department, which meant we had to do things like, running from the track and then hand it over to the admin people who will tabulate the results...though I did not know what the hell did this had to do with publicity of any sort, the extremely enthusiastic sec 2s were more than eager to take on this job, which meant physically less demanding duties for me... XD

Or so...i thought....

But hell it was fun...I was appointed to be 1 of 2 commentators... And good to say, Mr Salleh and Mr Lak felt that I was doing a good job, observing all the competitors, announcing...

It was really fun, getting the shade at the upper levels of the grandstand, and then feeling a load of energy...but alas

My throat just could not stand the emotions and roar of the stadium high, and shouting into the mike to make my point only made it worst

And Gabriel, thank you so much for finding all those cold drinks to sustain my throat throughout my 2 hour commentary.

So Gabriel take over for the rest of the Carnival, occasionally helping the other prefects to get those annoying little buggers from running around and trying to take shelter in one of those benches around the track which they were not allowed to in the 1st place

All ended well, after that,

Zion......................

Ironically, we did not get to play the initial match, for the 1st group that arrived there (Charles, Bryan, Shawn, Joel, and Me yes 5 in a cab.....Shawn was fairly small) we played with another group of Patricians who were there 1st.

As usual, the highlight of the afternoon was Joel, whose Nerubian Weaver nobody could match, getting his usual triple kills. In the initial stages, he did not farm properly, but late game, he got his act together and became top player. Rock On.

I was Enchantress, Charles was Anti-Mage, Bryan as Broodmother (ks-ed Joel one time for a double kill) Shawn Huang was Priestess of the Moon (FUCKING CAN'T SHOOT YOUR ARROW PROPERLY LA CB! MOTHER NEVER TEACH YOU HOW TO AIM IS IT? OF LIKE, 15 ARROWS YOU HIT THE ENEMY ONLY ONCE!...haha... okok...not angry..he was not up to form..just all was feeling damn dumb at his mistake which, if not commited, could have led us to pawn their asses instead of a normal win)

Shit happens....

As for me, though I drew 1st blood, I got backstabbed and ganged frequently, and my health is admittedly, not my forte.

And most of the time, I was just slowing enemies, throwing spears that hit harder the further the enemy was away from me, and organizing "healing rallies".

I went to Parkway Timezone, to try my luck at the lighthouse game to win a handphone, but alas, to no avail, I went there pretty confidently, but ended up wasting $20.

Shit happens...

Now about yesterday, at my sis's recommendation, we all went to Defu Lane to get some seafood.

The food was ok, to me...

But the waitress made a mistake

We ordered 2 crabs, we wanted one chilli, and one butter crab. But on the table there were 2 chilli crabs, asking for an exchange, the waitress told us they ran out of crabs..

I was .... ok..nvm.....My sis however was not happy (so she says) .

Shit happens...

Luckily, there were some "backup" crabs, so the waitress said, we got our crabs, despite our appetite getting ruined in the beginning. The butter was heavenly though..mmmm.....'

The waitress apologized by giving us a free fruit platter

And heck, we had 3 crabs, not bad

Thanks Jie..

We left the place, while the waitress saw us off as a sign of her sincerity, and as so Greg aptly puts it, hopefully, this incident will spur her on to do better next time in the service of customers.

So, 3 mistakes in 2 days.

When you make a mistake,

1) Admit it
2) Make good the mistake and learn from it
3) Don't repeat it again.

3 hours later, on this very night, a child was born onto this earth by the grace of God.

(so much for Holy Hour...haha!)

God Bless!

I've failed

After getting a extremely disappointed Brother telling me the stuff that's been going on...

I have decided

LAN will not be a part of Legion activities...

It was a mistake from the beginning, and I want to end it now...once and for all...

Too much has been going on, and due to a few guys not telling their parents after ACIES, some figures of authourity got hit left right and centre.

And so, I officially bring it to a close. The limits have been stretched far enough........................

I can't believe what I was doing.........I have really failed as President, as a Legionary for succumbing to this....

I wish to make good my wrongs.....

I'm sorry, My Mother

And I've fallen sick again. Nosebleeding, flu.....

There has been some strange virus going on...lately....and half the clinic was consulting the doctors coz of flu...

I really hope it is not another case of SARS....

I just slept for a full 15-hours..though I do not know how.........

i mite as well use this time to do some IPW

God Bless!

Fabulous

Woot..

Had an extremely great meal at Aston's yesterday night with my bro, sis and mom...(dad just cannot appreciate western food can he?)

On the table was

Crispy Fried Fish
2 ieat SuperBurgers

and the main highlight of the evening

a 250g Grade 6/7 Wagyu Striploin that costed $79 ( er nope..not 3 of this..it would just be too bloody expensive...)

And just when we were eating, a continuous alarm came from the kitchen...

Apparently, the exhaust pipe got problem (probably due to overworked) and so the grill was out of order and no more further orders could be taken.

Thank God it was AFTER our meal was served. And you should have seen the way Greg totally gorged himself on the ieat Superburger. He had to literally stretch his jaw muscles to the max...I cant afford to stretch coz for some reason it will dislocate my jaw... :( wheres the fun in eating a burger then...

sigh

Anways, the Wagyu..was ...]omg...... Tender, Juicy, and all the natural fats oozed out when i sank my teeth into this gourmet steak...

Definetely worth a $79...but not shared among 3 people..hehe........

All were filled and satisfied..

oh btw.. The potatoes used for the side dishes like baked potatoes is RustleBerback (or smth lidat..how to spell) potatoes...extremely fresh and soft...

anway, from the 17th of April, Astons is gonna renovate( actually to expnd his shop) and it will be only opened in the 1st of May. So, expect to see a bigger space...( but the queue will remain the same long damn queue it is...sigh)

and according to him, during his opening he is gonna import Grade 9+ Wagyu..WOOT....

If you think thats cool, last time, he had a freaking Grade 11+ which costed $150 for 250 g...

As extravagant as it may sound, its considered quite worth it coz it will cost like wat...200 to 300 bucks in restaraunts?

haha...anyway, kudos to Astons for making such fabulous western fare at cheap rates for all to enjoy

His personal commitment " I will never raise the price of my food."

Next thing i wanna try is the Tenderloin steak...

oh..i have a few pics of the Wagyu which i will post....maybe next time....cya!

P.S Today, Aston posted notice saying he will try to fix his grill by 7pm....no promises thoguh

CIAO!

God Bless Aston and everyone!
