V Day

Everyone had plans...yadda yadda

I went to airport and met Roderick there...both galz were working morning shift on that day...and they were hyper about it...also there were no maggi mee/ amy to ruin their glorious day...:D

I gave Oli a bouquet which was wrapped in blue paper with a purple ribbon. Inside contained 2 pink roses which I bought from school as proceeds went to a charity organization, and I added in one blood red rose which I bought from Parkway.

She liked it la..haha ....and she informed me that sending 3 blood red roses to a girl meant " I love You"

:/

or " I love you, my cousin"

haha...and she is my dear cousin!

All went to her house and we played stepmania.....!!!!HAHAHA...Managed to survive a bit of "gym leader battle"

Oli's mom said something that really upset her almost that she was already on the verge of tears. :(

cousin, don't be sad..ok? all of us are here for you...

Darryl and Furtado came by, buying her a pair of drumsticks and a comic respectively. and she was HYPER ABOUT IT.....

We all watched a Pokemon movie, something to do with Lucario..8th movie in the movie series......pretty nice...all of us loved it despite the fact we all like outgrown pokemon already...

And so began the surprise!

We presented the ring to both Sharon and Roderick. The ring symbolised their 1st relationship together and more importantly, a sign of their love for each other..

at least thats what i think anyway....

and they both were like feeling embarassed about this...haha

I went for dinner with them before tuition ...=.="
zz

So, a day well spent with friends, better than stoning at home like it was any other day.

V Day, brings the virtue of Love...

and so it begins

The fact that this day came about was because of love, the fact that we celebrate it is also because of love, the fact that this day will be celebrated in the future is also because of love...

The Bible speaks of love...I like it best in Corinthians Chapter 13..I shall see if i can type out the verse 1 - 13 without any references

*takes a deep breath*

If I were able, to speak the language of humans, and even that of angels, but if I have no love, I am no more but a clanging bell, or a noisy gong. I may possess all knowledge, and understand all secrets, I may possess the faith that is required to move mountains, but if I have no love, I am nothing. I may give away all my riches and possessions, and even give up my body to be burnt, but if I have no love, this does me no good.

Love is patient and kind. It is not jealous, conceited or proud. Love is not ill-mannered, (something and something) Love does not keep a record of wrongdoings, but is tolerant, Love does not rejoice in evil, but is happy with the truth.

When I was a child, my thoughts, actions were that of a child. But now that I am an adult, I have no use for childish ways.

Meanwhile, these 3 remain; Faith, Hope and Love. And the greatest of these, is Love...

Hm..i think i missed out a few points...but now lets see the actual verses from the Bible itself.

I may be able to speak the languages of human beings and even of angels, but if I have no love, my speech is no more than a noisy gong or a clanging bell. I may have the gift of inspired preaching; I may have all knowledge and understand all secrets; I may have all the faith needed to move mountains- but if I have no love, I am nothing. I may give away everyhing I have, and even give up my body to be burned- but if I have no love, this does me no good

Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up, and its faith, hope and patience never fail.

Love is eternal. There are inspired messages, but they are temporary; there are gifts of speaking in strange tounges, but they will cease; for there is knowledge, but it will pass. For our gifts of knowledge and of inspired messages are only partial; but when what is perfect comes, thein what is partial will disappear.

When I was a child, my speech, feeling, and thinking were all those of a child; now that i am an adult, I have no more use for childish ways. What we see now is like a dim image in a mirror; then we shall see face-to-face. What I know now is only partial; then it will be complete-
as complete as God's knowlege of me.

Meanwhile, these three remain: faith, hope, and love; and the greatest of these is love.

There you have it...

God Bless!
